![]() ![]() The Scene: the sequence derives from the intro scene of the 1965 Polish movie: Faraon. The players take the role of a prospective pharaoh, who will determine the fate of not just Egypt, but also the people of Canaan and the Hittite empire. Titled Total War: Pharaoh, the latest game in the strategy franchise takes place during the Egyptian New Kingdom, right around the Bronze-Age collapse. And than a new awakening birth of the new beetles will begin, which will repeat the cycle once more for eternity. Inside the ball is the beetle’s larvae, once the beetle finds an appropriate place to burry the dung ball, it will seal the entrance and die. As you can see the beetle is rolling the dung ball across the ground, sometimes for miles, on its hind legs. The beetle is significant to the Ancient Egyptian mythos, as it represents “rebirth”, the ultimate goal of all Ancient Egyptians.
